Carina White is an Account Director in the Talent & Influencer team within R&CPMK and she started her career as a Broadcast Assistant intern at BBC 1Xtra in London. Following this she worked several junior roles within the music industry including at the legendary Greensleeves Records. Following a chance meeting with a football agent, she transitioned into Sports, joining Straight Ace Sports Management heading up their client services and PR division. Here she managed the careers of numerous high-profile athletes across the Premier League and Championship divisions of English football leagues becoming one of the few Black women working in the business side of Sports.
Straight Ace Sports retained Carina as a consultant and Carina went on to elevate and progress her career within the Media and Sports industries working on numerous projects with global brands such as Samsung and Swarovski.
Carina sits on the board of BCOMS (Black Collective of Media in Sports) and is also a founding member of the Childline (NSPCC) Circle. Carina is also an accomplished public speaker and presenter and has carried out panel talks for household brands such as Nike, Dove and Red Bull. Carina also features regularly as a cultural commentator on TV and Radio and is passionate about increasing visibility of Black women in Media and building senior leadership pathways for people from underrepresented and diverse backgrounds.
Project I am Proud of
Casting and securing Adwoa Aboah for Kurt Geiger’s Autumn/Winter 2022 campaign. It was the first project I worked on by myself after starting at R&CPMK and the client was extremely pleased with our casting suggestions and how Adwoa brought the campaign to life.

Driving through my hometown of South London and seeing billboards with the Kurt Geiger campaign live. The best part of the job is seeing a campaign go live/come to life knowing you had a role in its success.

My Advice for Someone Just Starting Out
Everyday is an opportunity to learn more, ask questions and be bold and every person you meet is a potential door to a new opportunity whether professionally or personally. Create and maintain those relationships because good relationships are such an important part of this industry.
