Project I am Proud of
I’m super proud that I got to help launch Hasbro/eOne’s brand-new series, “Kiya & the Kimoja Heroes,” through a multi-faceted marketing and PR campaign.
Favorite Memory Here
When I worked the 2022 GRAMMY Awards, I escorted Doja Cat (one of my favorite artists of all time) and she told me she loved my dress and that I looked “snatched.” Of course I kept it cool and professional, but on the inside, I died.
Best Piece of Advice I've received
The best piece of advice I’ve received is learning how to practice empathy in the workplace. To me, it’s important to understand the ‘why’ and being able to view situations from all perspectives. This helps me control my own emotions and maintain level-headed in a work setting.
My Advice for Someone Just Starting Out
Be open to learning and exploring different industries to truly uncover what field/subjects make you happy and fulfilled. Once you find out what that is, put in the work, time and effort to get yourself there. Also, don’t give up! Power through during the times that feel tough and challenging, and I promise that conquering those times will be rewarding and lead you to growth.
