Dustin Steiner is a veteran, award-nominated journalist who made the transition to public relations after a decade of covering esports and video games. He’s worked for prestigious outlets in the esports space such as Dexerto, Esports.gg, the Capcom Pro Tour, and more. He was nominated for Esports Journalist of the Year at the 2019 Esports Awards, and helped shepherd Dexerto to Coverage Website of the Year as the Americas Editor on the site at the time.

After starting at R&CPMK as an Account Executive in 2022, he’s made massive strides in connecting stories with the reporters that can tell the story the best, and is excited to provide the kind of access and insight that journalists need on this side of the table. He’s worked with brands such as Hasbro, Evil Geniuses, Red Bull Gaming, Netmarble, and unikrn, among many others.

A life-long gamer, when he’s not pitching stories you can likely find him on Street Fighter 6, or rolling dice at the Dungeons and Dragons table.

Project I am Proud of

For Red Bull, we handled the press tour for the League of Legends World Champions DRX in the wake of their victory over T1. We managed to secure several top tier publications including The Athletic (which doesn’t typically cover esports), Washington Post, as well as engaging a number of endemic esports outlets to get the story behind the champions out.

Favorite Memory Here

Working the Grammys for the first time – it was crazy seeing how much goes into a show like that behind the scenes.
