Victor has more than 12 years of multicultural and consumer-focused PR, Communications and Marketing experience. He started his career at Hispanic advertising agency, Dieste, in Dallas,TX and later continued his passion for multicultural marketing at Hispanic Communications Network (Washington, DC) working with government and non-profit clients. He later joined Edelman NY’s multicultural practice and pivoted into the larger Consumer/Brand group leading sports and culture campaigns for Heineken (Champions League, MLS), AXE (Unilever), PayPal & Venmo and others. At the start of 2020, Victor moved his young family to LA to continue his career in PR with Ketchum and their Sports team working on traditional and esports clients like Activision Call of Duty League and Modelo. Victor, a native Texan, remains passionate about serving as a cultural conduit for people and brands. He even started a podcast called The Mijos to discuss male identity and fatherhood from a Latino perspective. Victor and his wife Janea live in El Segundo with their two sons – Vito (5) and Marcus (2), along with their cats, Jupiter & Comet, and Mini-Schnauzer, Maverick.
Project I am Proud of
Cold Brew & Classic Cars events for McDonald’s of Southern California. Led and coordinated three events in Van Nuys, San Diego and East LA to support new cold brew products by hosting safe space meetups for lowrider communities while celebrating the unique Chicano culture of this region.
